Cake Wallet 6.2

Covers v6.2.0 (June 5, 2026) and v6.2.1 (June 9, 2026).

Highlights

  • Use a Trezor hardware wallet with Monero: pair your device to view balances and sign XMR transactions while your private keys stay offline.

  • Redesigned WalletConnect screens, with clearer permission prompts, faster session setup, and smoother multi-chain dApp connections.

  • Rebuilt Nodes screen: check node latency, switch between your own and Cake's default daemons, and manage your connections in one place.

  • Bitcoin and Litecoin wallets sync faster in the background, so the app is ready to use sooner after you open it.

  • Smoother Pay Anything flow for scanning, converting, and paying a crypto invoice.

Improvements & fixes

v6.2.0 — June 5, 2026

  • Ongoing code modernization means a smaller app footprint and better memory use.

  • General maintenance, performance tuning, and fixes for edge-case UI glitches.

v6.2.1 — June 9, 2026

  • LetsExchange is now re-enabled as a swap provider after extensive improvements to their infrastructure, giving you another excellent source of rates when exchanging coins.

  • Fixed a Monero issue where an invalid key image could cause transaction creation to fail.

  • Further Trezor improvements.

  • QR scan screen fixes: the manual-input button works again, the layout no longer overlaps, and Lightning invoices are parsed more reliably when scanned.

  • Solana: the GMT token now displays with the correct number of decimals.

  • The swap confirmation sheet now shows the network badge, address book entries show the right chain icons, and the missing MWEB icon is back.

  • Sharing now works correctly on iPad.

  • Fixed an error when entering an invalid custom node address, and a fix for EVM wallet creation failing after restoring from a backup.
